Eligibility: Completion of our Ayurveda Therapist Level 1 course

Dates: • 1–29 April 2020, • 2 November 2020 – 2 December 2020

Cost: 85,000

This course will equip you with knowledge that focuses on the holistic treatment of an individual to heal disease. Western medicine is good at treating the disease symptomatically, but often does not look at the holistic nature of the body and mind. The root of the problem is never treated, which is why most people who take conventional pills, are never able to be fully free from them. In Ayurveda, we look at the holistic picture that doesn’t separate the disease from the individual. To treat a disease the individual needs to be treated as a whole. This course will give alternative healing options to therapists who want to work on the overall wellness of an individual.

Ayurveda Therapist Level 2 is expanding the knowledge learnt in the Ayurveda Therapist Level 1 course. Most of the disorders that human beings suffer from, are rooted in improper digestion and metabolism (Agni). We start the course organically with the in depth understanding of the concept of agni and the disorders caused due to its imbalance: indigestion, gas, bloating, heartburn, hyper-acidity, constipation, nausea, etc. and the treatment of these. We will also study the physiology and pathology of different bodily systems such as the urinary system, hepatobiliary system, endocrine system, respiratory system, nervous and reproductive systems and how agni imbalances can affect them. This will lead to a proper understanding of different diseases associated with each system and their treatments.

Ayurveda Therapist Level 2 has a special emphasis on metabolic disorders, such as, insulin resistance, obesity, high cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure and PCOD. We also share our successful Ayurvedic diabetes reversal programme, which has been passed through generations.

Building on to practical skills already learnt in our Ayurveda Therapist Level 1 programme, we study different kinds of detox for different organs, proper fasting techniques, diets, cupping therapy, nabhi chikitsa (navel therapy), yoga therapy, pranayama, mantra chikitsa and a special marma technique for treating frozen shoulder. We will also build on knowledge of herbs studied in the Level 1 course for the treatment of diseases covered in the Level 2 course.

The treatments we study in this course are tailored to suit the modern world, they are practical, risk free and can be practiced without having complex infrastructure and chemical medicines. Unfortunately, in the modern world we think that health is the responsibility of medically trained doctors or health professionals only. Ayurveda focuses on individual education and tries to give self-responsibility to the patient. Through this course you can learn how to educate and train an individual who wants to come out of the vicious cycle of conventional pills.

Daily program and general routine:

There will be 2+ hours of Ayurveda studies everyday 5 days per week. Weekends are off for mandatory self study and practice.
